In general, Honor 9 is a medium-sized 5-inch smartphone by modern standards with a narrow bezel around the screen, but in the hand it feels a little "chubby" - not as sleek and thin as the Huawei P10. In general, if Huawei P10 with its all-metal matte casing can be characterized primarily as practical and reliable, then Honor 9, on the contrary, has a pampered and airy image, more suitable for natures with a subtle emotional warehouse. In the hands of a brutal macho, such a "shiny" will look, perhaps, not entirely appropriate. Honor 9 is not equipped with protection against moisture and dust, although the glasses themselves, according to the assurances of representatives of the company, have increased resistance to shock. For the back panel, by the way, Gorilla Glass 3 is used. The smartphone does not slip in the hand, this question is well thought out. Fingerprints, of course, remain on the glass, but thanks to the good grease-repellent coating, they are reluctant to collect and very easily erased. In this regard, there are no complaints about Huawei, the smartphone almost always looks presentable and impressive. The front panel is completely covered with 2.5D protective glass with sloping edges. The fingerprint scanner is located under the screen, but is not integrated into the mechanical button, it is just a recess in the glass. The scanner works quickly and clearly, the finger can be brought up from any angle. On the sides of it, highlighted dots indicate two touch buttons, their purpose can be changed in the settings. Above the screen are sensors, a front camera module without a flash, an LED event indicator and a slot for the earpiece, covered with a grill.
