Hyundai Sonata 2010 Black

Review of the car owner Hyundai Sonata 2010 I greet all motorists and those who are going to become one! Everything below is more like a cry from the heart than a response. It will be about a Korean-made Hyundai Sonata of the sixth generation of 2010. The purchase of the car took place by ordering it from South Korea through the Pia-Tec Motors Corporation. The choice of a car, its order, payment, delivery by ferry to Vladivostok, customs clearance, loading onto an auto transporter and delivery to Khabarovsk - all this, in principle, did not cause much trouble, everything took a little more than three weeks. And at the beginning of October 2012, the moment came when I, sitting behind the wheel, felt like the owner of a new car. By the way, I will say that before that I was lucky enough to own the following cars: 1. Toyota Cresta 1995 onwards, 2.5 liters, 180 hp, tenure period - 1.5 years (June 2006 - December 2007); 2. Nissan Primera 2001 onwards, 2.0 liters, 150 hp, ownership period - 1 year and 2 months (December 2007 - February 2009); 3. Toyota M Hyundai Sonata 2010 Black ark II 2003 onwards, 2.5 liters, 200 hp, ownership period - 2 years (February 2009 - February 2011); 4. Toyota Mark X 2006 onwards, 2.5 l., 215 hp, ownership period - March 2011 - to this day (which he sold and, thank God, did not have time to sell). Before buying the Sonata, I read a lot about it, but apparently not enough. When driving the car from Khabarovsk home to Komsomolsk-on-Amur, I was upset by the suspension. Looking at the car, I personally got the impression that this is at least a heavy machine, which, probably, should have a smooth ride. In fact, the car, despite good cornering, skips along the road like a goat, and when the wheels hit the bumps in the road surface, the front pillars play out very much, unlike, for example, all those cars that I had. The racks hit with such force on small pits that it feels like you are riding a cart. The next thing that upset - insulation. When the engine is running, already at 3 thousand rpm, there is a strong roar in the cabin, while the acceleration dynamics are like that of a "scooter". The 2-liter engine for the Sonata is small, there is still nothing in the city, but on the highway outside the village the car is dull and brooding. The algorithm of operation of the present rain sensor remains a mystery. In the presence of water on the windshield, the "wipers" for some reason remain motionless until some indefinite moment, and did not understand under what conditions they should be turned on. Winter has come, and again some frustration. The car has a sunroof with a panoramic roof. It would be better if they weren't. This roof makes such sounds, especially after washing, as if someone is jumping on it from above, very unpleasant and distracting. Another significant minus related to winter operation is that it extremely tightens the windshield and side front windows with frost when driving on the highway in severe frosts, which, in turn, interferes with the view. Here, most likely, the stove does not cope, although it was warm in the cabin. Also, the wide front pillars, inclined at a rather acute angle (you need to get used to it), interfere with the view. When it got cold to about -20 and below, the doors stopped closing normally, it was necessary to make a lot of efforts to close them with a crash from the third time. For comparison, I will say that at the same time my work colleague was buying a car with me and through the same firm. He bought a KIA K5 (the engine and configuration are very similar). So, comparing our cars, a big difference was noticed in the identified shortcomings, nothing froze, the doors at -40 closed normally, and the hatch did not emit extraneous sounds. The question is why ???? As for the interior, everything is also far from ideal. The leather seats are pleasing, but the quality of the plastic is very upsetting, it is too cheap both in appearance and in touch. The folding rear row of seats is not enough, there is only a plastic curtain behind the armrest, which slightly opens access to the trunk. I didn’t understand why the air ducts located in the armrest between the front seats and directed at the passengers sitting behind did not blow warm air from there (and again the comparison - in the Mark X it blows both cold and warm air). The car has Bluetooth, but it did not work out to link it with the phone. There is a description of this procedure in the club of sonatos, when connecting it is neces https://cars45.com.gh/1npjN16hrab3kPWYK5T5JJyW
